Ashley Froese DPT
A former member of the Canadian Junior National Softball Team, NCAA Division I athlete at Florida International University, and Canadian National Champion, Ashley graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Dakota in 2012. She has well over 10 years of academic experience spanning across Canada and the United States. Her orthopaedic background combines various manual therapies, thorough education and exercise prescription. She considers herself a very hands on therapist with a passion for keeping active in the profession through volunteering with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba (CPM). She recently completed a 3 year term on the Council for CPM where she served in various roles including Vice Chair. Ashley is now the Chair for the Concussion Committee aimed to develop practice standards for Physiotherapists in Manitoba. Growing up in the farming community of Snowflake, when Ashley returned home to Manitoba she decided that it was time to increase service and accessibility for all patients of any age in rural southern Manitoba. This drove her passion to continue to seek further education. Ashley has years of experience in the areas of Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Intro & Advanced Vestibular Therapy (Balance & Vertigo), and has completed Levels 1, 2A, 2B & Capstone (Advanced) Certificates through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute in Women's Health & Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy.
Tim Shantz CAT (C) B.E.S.S., CPT

You may not find a therapist more giving of his personal time in Southern MB than Tim. He spends countless hours with many MJHL, AAA and youth sports teams in the area and we are proud to have him on the bench at the Esso Cup. Tim is a Certified Personal Trainer through CSEP, is Certified in Soft Tissue Release (STR), and is a NCCP level 1 Weight Lifting Coach. He also utilizes massage and manual therapy, functional movement screens and exercise prescription to help get you active and moving again at any age!
Jared Hildebrand BMR-PT
Jared is a physiotherapist who has a passion for empowering patients and helping them see their potential to take control and achieve their goals. His treatment is both manual and movement based, utilizing additional skills learned such as mobilization with movement and mulligan techniques. Jared's enthusiasm can be heard throughout the clinic and his love for music has even brought him backstage as physiotherapist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Selena Gomez!
Jeanine Redstone MPT
Jeanine is a graduate from the University of Manitoba Masters of Physical Therapy program. She was born and raised in Winkler Manitoba, and grew up playing multiple sports which came with different injuries. After a serious head injury it lead her to an increased interest in the area of injury rehabilitation. Jeanine uses her background from Kinesiology and University Soccer to aid in her exercise prescription. She has completed additional education in orthopaedics, and is Certified to practice Acupuncture.
Stefan Mulaire MPT
Stefan was born and raised in Brandon where he met his wife. Together they moved to Winnipeg to follow Stefans passion to educate and create a healthier and more durable client through physiotherapy. Stefan graduated from the school of Medical Rehabilitation at the University of Manitoba in 2017 with a Master's in Physiotherapy. He also completed a bachelor of science from his home town in Brandon in 2015. Stefan has a background in personal training and wishes to pursue further education to build a more durable client through strength and conditioning. He has also completed continuing education in orthopaedics, and is Certified to practice Acupuncture.
Julie Medwid MPT
Originally from Dauphin, Julie first moved to Winnipeg to complete a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology followed by her Masters in Physical Therapy, prior to planting herself in the farming community of Crystal City and returning to a rural lifestyle. Her passion for physical activity and fitness started young as a competitive highland dancer. These days you will often find Julie pushing herself at Broadway fitness, or cruising the cross country ski trails that wind around town. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering for the Private Practice Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, along with the Rural and Remote Committee of the Manitoba Physiotherapy Association. She is extremely passionate about the Physiotherapy profession and is currently completing a mentorship program aimed at establishing positive patient experiences under esteemed Physiotherapist Darryl Yardley; Researcher, Consultant, Director of Therapy Services for Brant Community Healthcare System, and Professor for Western University in London Ontario. Along with being passionate, Julie is also driven and energetic. She enjoys working with clients of all ages and abilities while assisting them in finding ways to achieve pain-free movement and helping them reach their goals of living an active and healthy lifestyle. We are thrilled to have her join our team!
Carly McLeod MPT
Carly graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in 2015, and a Master of Physical Therapy in 2017. After graduating from the physical therapy program, Carly worked in Brandon, where she became passionate about women’s health physiotherapy, and expanded her knowledge in cancer rehabilitation. Originally from Mather, Manitoba, Carly always knew she wanted to return to rural Manitoba, and is incredibly excited to make this move with her husband. Through both orthopaedic and pelvic floor physiotherapy, Carly loves helping people get back to physical activity, whatever it is that moves them! Carly has completed several post graduate courses, including The Physical Therapy Approach to Female Urinary Incontinence and The Physiotherapy Approach for Dyspareunia through Uro Sante, Pregnancy, Pelvic Girdle Pain & The Pelvic Floor through Pelvic Health Solution, Advanced Rehab Techniques in Breast Cancer, Female Athletes: Ready for Impact and High Intensity, as well as several orthopaedic courses. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and looks forward to getting to know you in the clinic and the community!
Ceone Hamilton RD
Registered Dietitian, Functional Nutrition Coach
Ceone Hamilton is a Registered Dietitian from Morden, Manitoba, who loves sharing her passion for nutrition and wellness with just about anyone who will listen. She began her education at the University of Manitoba, where she completed her BSc. in Human Nutritional Sciences with a minor in Psychology. Upon completing her degree, Ceone entered into a competitive dietetic internship gaining hands on experience within clinical, surgical, and community nutrition. Ceone has continued her education with an evidence-based functional nutrition certification program and has completed additional integrative training in Digestive Wellness, Hormones & Endocrinology, and Therapeutic Supplementation. Ceone is very passionate about functional nutrition, and takes a holistic approach with her clients. She looks at all aspects of their life and collaborates with them to create a customized plan that will fit long term. In her free time she enjoys hiking, kayaking in her big red inflatable kayak, and finding new ways to make desserts out of vegetables.
Kristen has been the receptionist at Morden Physiotherapy since September of 2014. She is the voice behind the phone, the typist behind the e-mails, and the warm smile that greets you as you enter the door. Prior to Morden Physiotherapy Kristen honed her photography skills through Prairieview School of Photography and shooting various events, but found a passion for nature photography. A local country girl, Kristen enjoys hitting the links with her husband in the summer. She looks forward to working at Winkler Physio for years to come.
